What is the UMJC20s?

The UMJC20s is geared towards young Messianic students, professionals, and families between the ages of 18-29, to encourage each other in faith and identity. Our goals are to connect, educate, and empower. We do this in a variety of ways – using regional conferences and the annual national UMJC Conference to connect. Educate via teachings and Torah studies, and empower through internships and mentoring programs designed to raise up our generation for leadership. Our hope is that we will always be growing in our faith, worship Hashem with passion, and be authentic living examples of what it means to have a relationship with Yeshua.

Our purpose:

1. To encourage and empower a generation of young Messianic Jews (specifically high-school age — 29) to be passionate about Yeshua and Jewish living and be deeply committed to building our Messianic Jewish Movement.

2. To identify Messianic Jewish men and women who seek to prepare for leadership roles in the UMJC and larger Messianic Jewish community and to develop and cultivate a pipeline where these young people can stay connected, continue learning, and receive intentional mentoring.

The UMJC 20s is part of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations, which is the oldest and broadest affiliation of congregations serving the Jewish movement for Yeshua as Messiah and Lord, serving congregations that are committed to Yeshua and connected with Jewish life and identity. The UMJC has five organizational objectives:

•           To further the initiation, establishment, and growth of Messianic Jewish Congregations worldwide.

•           To be a voice for Messianic Jewish Congregations and Messianic Judaism worldwide.

•           To provide a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to Messianic Judaism and Messianic Jewish Congregations.

•           To aid in the causes of our Jewish people worldwide, especially in Israel.

•           To support the training of Messianic Leaders.
